2022 is the year of opportunity; the sector and wider society has gone from bust to boom. Every business is looking to capitalise on the market’s success, and ultimately asking: when will the bounce back regress?
The Bank of England stated that ‘the rate of inflation went up quickly in 2021. We expect it to reach over 7% by spring 2022 and then start to come down after that.’
What does this mean for the modern dynamics of the property industry and British economy?
Banking on the Future is returning for its fourth instalment to share critical insight from pioneering industry leaders and senior economist from the Bank of England. For the first time since its launch in 2020, the event will be held in front of a live audience.
The event series has had immense success - previously partnering with the likes of Knight Frank, Canary Wharf Group, Notting Hill Genesis, and Project Etopia – and will take place at the pristine central London venue, Regent Street Cinema on Thursday 31st March from 8.00AM.
The event follows the UK budget announcement from Chancellor Rishi Sunak and is conveniently scheduled 1-week before the End of Financial Year, aiming to provide a unique and highly qualified perspective on the challenges and opportunities of the year ahead.
Bank of England Senior Economist, Robert Elder, will talk on behalf of the bank to offer an exclusive analysis of the market and future trends shaping the economy.
Joining Elder on the panel are two high-profile real estate pioneers: Jane Hollinshead, Managing Director of People, Culture and Customer Service at Canary Wharf Group, and Madani Sow, CEO atWestminster Development Projects.
