Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant
Salary: £30 - £35k
Location: West London
Summary
We are working with one of the UK's leading housebuilders, based in their West London office they are looking for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. This role would suit someone with a couple of years of experience and have either started their professional qualification or is keen to.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of three weekly standardised tasks: The Sales Uplift (Book Value v Achieved sales), Balancing back and the Sales declarations.
- Preparation of sales performance reporting including weekly sales updates and phase by phase sales trackers.
- Reconciling Opayo (Sage pay).
- Posting daily, weekly reservation, exchange and completions monies to the balance sheet and the bank rec
- Reconciling progress payment control account
- Managing and preparation of the completions tracker - monitoring deposits and completion monies on account from sold plots.
- Matching off balance sheet control accounts
- Raising overhead purchase orders.
- Reconciling sales agency fee trackers.
- To provide a key point of contact with the internal accounts department and the wider business to pro-actively resolve payment queries and ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Contractor finance due diligence and to ensure all relevant documentation related to payment of invoices is accurate and supported, such as bank details and company addresses.
- Monitoring weekly bank reconciliations.
- Preparation of various schedules, printing and collation of bi monthly board packs.
- Preparation of monthly Sales and Marketing cost reports and liaising with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure monthly professional reporting.
- Posting of manual vouchers and mixed payments preparation of month end schedules.
- Assisting the Financial Controller with monthly profit and cash flow forecasting.
