Internal Site Manager

Location: South London

Salary: £280-£300 per day CIS

We are currently looking for an Internal Site Manager to work through till finishing for an exciting new role in South London. You will be working on an exciting new development for a well-respected client of ours. This is a Monday-Friday role, and they require somebody who is available to start immediately that can hit the ground running.

Who will you be working for?

You will be working for a world-renowned company within the New Homes space. They have created tens of thousands of new homes, numerous landmark buildings and a number of commercial spaces. They are definitely a company you will want to for.

What will you be doing?

Your role will consist of your standard day to day requirements as a site manager, some examples of what your day could hold are;

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of residential site operations, ensuring smooth progress.
  • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and used efficiently.
  • Supervise and support site workers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for site services and projects.
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments on-site.
  • Prepare reports on site performance, incidents, and improvement plans.
  • Plan and manage the operational budget, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between on-site teams, project managers, and clients.
  • Identify and resolve on-site issues, delays, or conflicts effectively

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 6
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-volume residential projects
  • Proven expertise within the residential construction sector
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth understanding of residential construction processes, codes, and regulations
