Join our client at their new Build to Rent scheme in Manchester, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the property. As a Maintenance Coordinator, you'll take ownership of the property's condition, promptly addressing issues and coordinating maintenance activities with both internal and external partners. Your ability to work autonomously, communicate effectively, and tackle situations head-on will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
π§ Coordinate and oversee contractor maintenance activities, ensuring timely repairs and compliance with Health & Safety standards.
π Diagnose and repair domestic appliances, assess needed parts, and ensure general maintenance support.
π¨ Perform basic plumbing, painting, decorating, and other maintenance tasks across communal and resident areas.
ποΈ Contribute to grounds maintenance, keeping outdoor spaces clean, tidy, and appealing.
π¨ Handle emergency procedures, reset fire alarms, and assist with tenant emergencies.
π¬ Interact with residents, addressing queries, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
π‘οΈ Prioritize Health & Safety, reporting faults, incidents, and adhering to procedures.
π Log defects and assist with snagging issues, ensuring timely resolution.
π Keep up-to-date with training and relevant legislation.
