Job Title: Senior Client Accounts Manager

Experience Required: Residential Lettings Accounting

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 PA + benefits

Location: Manchester (4 days in office / 1 remote day per week)

Summary:

Growing at an exponential rate across the National Estate Agency landscape; our client is seeking a Senior Client Accounts Manager to sit within their Investment Management team in this newly created position. It is essential to have worked within the Residential Property sector ideally within Lettings or BTR (Build to Rent).

The role will oversee the Client Accounts team based in their Manchester offices. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm with 1 day remote.

The Senior Client Accounts Manager will work alongside the Senior Director and Operations Manager to deliver and maintain Corporate client accounts with appropriate controls, processes and oversight with a strong focus on cost tracking, anti-fraud controls, and debt recovery.
Ensuring compliance with existing client accounts, internal policies and external requirements such as client money protection, PCI compliance and record keeping.
Working alongside the client managers to maintain accurate records, improve KPI reporting and taking ownership of the day-to-day relationships with key third parties.
Overseeing daily account processes this includes but is not limited to receipting payments, allocating funds, reconciliations & updating our CRM systems.
Providing regular updates and reporting on key performance indicators to department heads.
Carrying out people management activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience of handling client money within residential property lettings or BTR with Corporate clients is essential.
  • An advanced knowledge of accounts payable, cashiering, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, accounts receivable, purchase ledgers, client funds management, client money protection and statutory requirements.
  • Ability to advise the Governance, Operations and Finance teams on client accounting topics that could impact the business.
  • Solid presentation skills with the ability to grow and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
