- We appointed an Ambassador of CSR to drive our internal and external strategy
- We offer our staff 10 paid volunteering days, so they can actively give back to causes which are important to them
- We partnered with Oblong Trees, joining their 10-year tree-planting initiative

do some good - The 2020 pandemic
Finalist for EG’s Superhero award
The initiative: A DSG task force was set up to actively connect offers of support within the Real Estate industry (space, supplies, manpower and property) to those in need including the homeless, domestic abuse charities, the LGBTQ+ community, the army and key workers.
How we helped: acted as a logistical call centre for inbound and outbound leads, directing requests to CBRE’s request centre and other relevant organisations such as Under the Doormat.
Funds raised: £7k+
#seemenow – Pride 2020
deverellsmith promoted the visibility of LGBTQ+ property professionals through the #seemenow challenge on Linkedin, whilst raising money for akt charity.
We encouraged participants to speak out on why visibility is important to them through a selfie with a homemade sign, as simple as a post-it note or A4 piece of paper.
Funds raised: £2k+

Partnering with Whitechapel Mission – In August 2021, each team spent a morning at the Whitechapel Mission in East London preparing and serving breakfast as well as sorting donated clothes.
devgives… - Every Halloween, deverellsmith supports a charity chosen by employees to raise funds and awareness through recruitment games and other activities.
International Women’s Day – Every IWD, we invite inspiring females to talk about their careers and offer insight.
MacMillan Coffee Morning – Each year deverellsmith takes part in the MacMillan Coffee Morning, in 2021 we raised £476 (and consumed a lot of sugar).
