We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Site Manager to join and lead a team on a 200+ unit residential scheme in South West London. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in the planning, programming & over site of the external and facade packages packages. Ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Specific emphasis on traditional brickwork facades, SFS, windows, bolt on balconies etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the on-site execution of external packages, ensuring all activities align with project specifications and schedules.
- Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate site staff, subcontractors orders, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow and productivity.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting regular site inspections.
- Quality Control: Monitor construction progress, ensuring work meets technical requirements and high-quality standards.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear communication with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns proactively.
- Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring profitability and resource efficiency.
- Problem-Solving: Anticipate and address on-site challenges, minimising disruptions and delays.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager for a volume developer with residential projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in the sector.
- Demonstrable experience managing teams and subcontractors
- SMSTS & CSCS card, NVQ level 6
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software is advantageous.
