We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Site Manager to join and lead a team on a 200+ unit residential scheme in South West London. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience managing external & facade packages (traditional brickwork, SFS, windows, bolt on balconies). Ideally need someone who has worked with a volume resi developer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the on-site execution of external packages, ensuring all activities align with project specifications and schedules.
- Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate site staff, subcontractors orders, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow and productivity.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting regular site inspections.
- Quality Control: Monitor construction progress, ensuring work meets technical requirements and high-quality standards.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear communication with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns proactively.
- Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring profitability and resource efficiency.
- Problem-Solving: Anticipate and address on-site challenges, minimising disruptions and delays.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager for a volume developer with residential projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in the sector.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience managing external & facade packages (traditional brickwork, SFS, windows, bolt on balconies). Ideally need someone who has worked with a volume resi developer.
- Demonstrable experience managing teams and subcontractors
- SMSTS & CSCS card, NVQ level 6
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software is advantageous.
