Technical Coordinator - Residential Development
We are looking for a Technical Coordinator to join our client and support the delivery on a high-quality RC Frame residential development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Technical Managers with day-to-day project management tasks
- Review and process consultant and contractor drawing packages
- Issue construction drawings and information following established protocols
- Liaise with statutory service companies and local authorities to manage regulatory requirements
- Work with with Architects, Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure information is shared and understood
- Maintain compliance with Building Regulations and other statutory requirements
- Prepare and check documents such as conveyance plans, brochure plans, technical specifications, and site documentation
- Monitor consultant design information and ensure it is delivered on time
- Assist with the selection and appointment of external design consultants
- Address technical queries during the design and construction phases
- Manage consultant fees and appointments
- Work effectively with other teams, including Planning, Commercial, Construction, and Sales
What We're Looking For:
- A solid understanding of the design process and knowledge of pre-construction, construction, and planning activities
- Competence with BIW or similar systems
- Ability to manage a demanding workload and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
