Job Title: ­­Finance Assistant - Entry Level
Salary: £28k - £32k
Location: West End, London
Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm

Summary

We are exclusively representing an Asset & Property Management company, based in the West End of London. They're looking for a School Leaver/Grad/Bookkeeper/Finance Assistant to join their team. This could be a great opportunity for someone to take their first step into the industry.

The candidate does not need to have gone to university, but will be keen to learn and grow within the business as well as study their AAT - you may have even started this already. Full training will be provided, but candidates are expected to be proactive and have ability to use a methodical approach to problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key point of contact for Financial Accountant - Investment Management (IM)
  • Liaison with Accounts Payable Clerk regarding coding and processing of Invoices
  • Supporting Financial Account IM with raising of Fee Invoices based on Management Agreements (Billing Cycle) using 'Regular Billing Summary'
  • Posting cash received and maintain register of billing versus cash received (All Invoice Register
  • Other bank payments / receipts reconciled and posted to ledger
  • Bank Reconciliations on ledger system for circa 30 bank accounts for review by Financial Accountant IM
  • Supporting Financial Accountant in making book entries regarding intercompany loan reconciliations (complex inter-loan relationships) and interest amounts
  • General maintenance of finance Ledgers
  • Monthly ledger and sub-ledger close for six 'Structures'
  • Support Financial Accountant in production of weekly global cash flow report for review by Finance Director
  • Supporting Financial Accountant in the production and rollover of Audit lead Schedules
