Job description

Our client are a luxury Property Management, Investment and Development company based in the heart of Chelsea, they are seeing a Rental Administrator to join them for a maternity contract for a minimum of 6 months.

Purpose of the Role:

As a Rental Administrator, you will support the senior rental administrators in managing all aspects of rental income across the portfolio. You will also assist other members of the accounts department, ensuring a professional and efficient finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Processing:

    • Manage rent and other income transactions daily.
    • Assist with direct debit collections for residential long leases and commercial rents.
  • Administration:

    • Handle residential long leases and income portfolios.
    • Perform lease input, disposals, and general account management.
    • Invoice rent, service charges, and interest demands.
    • Manage credit control, issue statements, and report on accounts.
    • Process legal documents, including assignments, variations, alterations, and charges.
    • Handle rent reviews.
  • Liaison and Support:

    • Maintain relationships with managing agents.
    • Provide holiday cover for commercial and residential portfolios as needed.
    • Address internal and external queries promptly.
    • Monitor and maintain the accounts rent inbox.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Relevant finance and property experience.
  • Strong PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills.
