Salary: £40,000-£42,000 depending on experience
We are looking for a Maintenance Operative with previous experience working for a New Build Developer. Our client is eager to get somebody great in as soon as possible so it is essential that you are immediately available. You will be based across two projects, Canary Wharf and Finsbury Park. This role on site from Monday-Friday from 7:30-5:30. You will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, ensuring a high-quality finish in high-end residential units and enhancing the aesthetics of various surfaces.

What will you be doing?
Within your role as a Maintenance Operative you will be required to do painting, decorating and mastic application along with some basic electrics and plumbing work.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilise safety equipment as required, including personal protective equipment (PPE).
Quality Control:
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client satisfaction.
- Make any necessary touch-ups or corrections to achieve a flawless finish.
Customer Service:
- Interact professionally with clients and address their questions or concerns.
- Provide guidance and recommendations regarding paint colours, finishes, and decorating options.
Requirements:
- You must have proven experience as an operative for a New Build developer.
- Experience within painting and decorating with a strong knowledge on painting techniques, materials, and finishes.
- Basic plumbing and electrics experience.
- Strong attention to detail and used to delivering high quality work.
- Excellent customer service skills as there will be an element of customer interaction.
- Able to work independently and to a deadline.
- Skilled in mastic application and repairs.
- Physically stamina for any physically demanding tasks.
- High understanding of safety protocols and guidelines.
