Job title: Resident Manager

Location: Leatherhead

Salary: £30k-32k

Hours: 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Working every other Saturday

In the property sector and have lettings experience? Looking for a change? I'm working with build-to-rent company that are looking for a Resident Manager to join the team.

The Resident Manager plays a vital role ensuring an outstanding and effortless living experience for residents. Collaborating with the team, the Resident Manager optimizes neighbourhood occupancy and maintains properties to a high standard for viewing.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Act as the primary customer-facing representative for all current and prospective residents.
  • Ensure an exemplary experience from initial inquiry through move-in and during residency.
  • Innovate to elevate standards, exploring opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive customer satisfaction across all platforms (Zendesk/Google/Homeviews).
  • Achieve set targets for occupancy, revenue, and Net Promoter Scores.
  • Manage resident contracting, ensuring compliance with standards, legislation
  • Oversee applicant checks, screening, and commercial risk management.
  • Conduct inspections to maintain property standards and report maintenance issues.
  • Manage the move-out process, including deposit release.
  • Participate in events and enhance resident experiences.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Prior letting/property management experience.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and industry-related systems like Yardi/RentCafe.
