Job description

Working for a large property technology company in the lettings and block management space this business development role responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by developing fresh leads and advancing the existing pipeline to drive revenue growth, enhance profitability and support overall business expansion. Additionally, accountable for building and nurturing strong relationships with a portfolio of smaller clients to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction.

Remote role (previous experience working remotely in a sales capacity is essential)

£55k basic, £65-68k year 1 OTE

Key Accountabilities:

* Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

* Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

* Generate leads and cold call potential customers.

* Arrange business meetings with prospective & existing clients

* Attend conferences, exhibitions and make pitches.

* Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines

* Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

* Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

* Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

* Develop entry level staff into valuable sales people

* Promote the company's services addressing or predicting clients objectives/needs.

Skills:

* Remote working sales track record in a proptech firm, ideally targeting lettings or property management businesses

* Customer oriented mind-set.

* Exceptional motivation skills, both for yourself and staff.

* Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

* A professional manner and appearance when meeting clients.

* Initiative and good decision making & negotiation skills.

* Planning, preparing and delivery of presentations.

* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)

* Market knowledge
