Job description
We are seeking a skilled, immediately available Customer Care Operative with expertise in multi trades, to be site based in Crouch End, North London.
As a Customer Care Operative, your primary responsibilities will include basic plumbing, electrical, enhancing the aesthetics of various surfaces, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring a high-quality finish in high-end residential units.
This is an 18 month contract where you will be employed by deverellsmith - paid weekly.
This role is customer facing, therefore must have worked in a similar role before. Strong background in plumbing, electrical, painting, decorating, and mastic application will be essential to the success of this role.
- Working hours 7:30am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
- Paying £40,000-£45,000 ASAP start
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize safety equipment as required, including personal protective equipment (PPE).
Quality Control:
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client satisfaction.
- Make any necessary touch-ups or corrections to achieve a flawless finish.
Customer Service:
- Interact professionally with clients and address their questions or concerns.
- Provide guidance and recommendations regarding paint colors, finishes, and decorating options.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an operative for a New Build developer
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and finishes.
- Proficiency in mastic application and repairs.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical fitness and stamina for physically demanding tasks.
- Understanding of safety protocols and guidelines.
