New Business Manager
deverellsmth are working on an exclusive basis to find a New Business Manager for an established and well respected firm of solicitors. The focus of the position is to identify new business opportunities, form new and lasting relationships and generate revenue within London and the South East.
The role is ideal for an individual from a property background with a strong understanding of conveyancing, this should be coupled with a dynamic, positive and pro active attitude to develop new relationships with an abundance of clients across the Real Estate sector.
The Role
- Source new business for a variety of leads as well as completing tenders to win contracts
- Promoting the New Business Department externally to generate leads to win work
- Help retaining existing relationships as well as win new relationships by providing excellent service, effectively managing issues that occur, providing solutions and communicating well with key stakeholders.
- Actively and regularly meeting new clients of the companies where new relationships have been identified for development
- Highlighting any potential growth opportunities and working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure optimum business development
- Contributes information to the Head of New Business on strategies to develop and tender for new relationships by monitoring competitive products, offerings and assessing needs within the legal services market

You must have proven experience of pitching and wining business and able to demonstrate your ability. Confidence and knowledge are key and ideally you will have managed a team and have leadership skills. A commitment and willingness to elevate your career is essential.
An enthusiastic and professional approach is a must alongside an ongoing adaptable attitude. You will be continually multi tasking, working with a variety of clients you will know their business and market which will allow you to be their chosen partner.
Estate Agency background is preferred.

- £50k basic salary
- £75-£80k OTE with competitive commission structure - year 1 - increasing in year 2
