Job Title: Property Manager (Trainee or Experienced)

Location: Berkshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire

Salary: £26,000 - £40,000 based on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday (on a rota basis): 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM / 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

The Role:

As a Property Manager, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of properties, ensuring both landlords and tenants receive excellent service. You will manage a range of tasks from inspections to maintenance, and liaise regularly with clients. This role offers the opportunity to join a market-leading estate agency, known for its commitment to customer care and for being the most positively reviewed in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering calls and handling enquiries professionally
  • Meeting with clients in the office and responding to email enquiries
  • Liaising with landlords and tenants on property inspections and maintenance updates
  • Managing a portfolio of approximately 170-190 properties (after training)
  • Coordinating maintenance requests and ensuring timely follow-up
  • Maintaining the online reporting system daily
  • Handling tenant notices and preparing Section 21 notices
  • Negotiating deposits at the end of tenancies
  • Coordinating tenancy renewals between landlords and tenants
  • Completing management inspections on a regular schedule
  • Managing the property database and CRM system (Reapit)
  • Handling tenant utility bills during move-ins and move-outs
  • Booking safety certificates and ensuring properties meet all legal requirements
