Job description

Our client is a dynamic and growing investment and development firm based in London, focusing on high-potential real estate projects across the UK. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a focus on long-term growth, they offer an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on the firm's success.

This role is ideal for a candidate with strong technical modelling skills, real estate transaction experience, and the ability to work independently and strategically. You'll play a key part in shaping investment decisions, building detailed appraisals, and driving forward high-profile real estate schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Appraisal and Modelling: Lead the creation and refinement of investment appraisals and financial models for new schemes.
  • Real Estate Transactions: Manage the analysis and structuring of real estate transactions, from initial assessment through to execution.
  • Strategic Input: Actively participate in investment discussions, providing insight and challenging assumptions with a commercial mindset.
  • Hands-on Approach: Be actively involved in a range of ongoing development schemes, reviewing opportunities and ensuring financial models reflect the current market.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and other departments, offering actionable recommendations that align with the company's long-term vision.
  • Autonomy: Take ownership of your work, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills without requiring close supervision.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in investment analysis or real estate transactions, ideally within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong modelling and financial analysis skills. You should be comfortable building and assessing complex real estate models from the ground up.
  • Real Estate Transactions: Demonstrable experience in running or supporting real estate transactions, with a keen understanding of the market.
  • Commercial Mindset: A proactive, solution-oriented approach, with the confidence to challenge and provide input on strategic decisions.
  • Self-sufficiency: Comfortable working independently and efficiently
  • Cultural Fit: Ideally, you've worked in an entrepreneurial, nimble firm and thrive in this type of environment. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity and have a clear understanding of the bigger picture.

If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to leverage your investment and real estate experience in a forward-thinking and ambitious firm, we'd love to hear from you.
