Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily walk-throughs to assess the condition of common areas and systems.
  • Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as needed.
  • Perform routine testing of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and emergency lighting.
  • Inspect and maintain building exteriors, including roofs and gutters.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
  • Monitor and maintain water supply and treatment equipment.
  • Provide monthly utility readings and manage inventory of tools and supplies.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs.
  • Ensure residents comply with building rules and regulations.
  • Prepare individual units for new residents through cleaning and minor repairs.
  • Respond promptly to resident inquiries and complaints.

Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience in building maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to use maintenance management systems and software.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
