This is a remote based role with one day of travel to Manchester a month.

Role: Procurement Manager Location: Remote with one day travel to Manchester Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum Schedule: Monday to Friday

About the Role: As the Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the procurement processes. You'll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier contracts to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the property portfolio. From overseeing vendor relationships to implementing strategic procurement initiatives, you'll be at the forefront of driving excellence in procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favourable terms.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly to maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement management, preferably within the property management or real estate industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
